Summer Jubilee in Republic this weekend
MARQUETTE — The third-annual Summer Jubilee, sponsored by the Higher Love Cannabis Co., will take place this weekend at the Pine Grove Bar in Republic.
The free three-day music festival is open to those 21 and older. All weekend long, guests can enjoy non-stop music from regional favorites, including Pajamas, Another One, Chicken Wire Empire and Jeff Winard Polka. From bluegrass to funk, rock to polka, the event has a little something for everyone. Music will starts at 1 p.m. Friday, 11 a.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday; all are Eastern times.
Food trucks will be on site all weekend, with Manny Mags bringing the fiesta, Smokler’s BBQ on Saturday and Sunday and The Kut Food Truck with gyros and breakfast delights.
Saturday will be a fun-filled day beginning at 10 a.m. with a FlowStar class at the Northern Lights Campground. This mesmerizing dance class blends movement and light for a unique festival experience with all skill levels welcome. Afterwards, guests are invited to explore the mystical between 2 to 6 p.m. with complimentary henna tattoos from Behennaed and tarot readings courtesy of Manipura Sun.
More than 20 industry vendors will be on site all weekend featuring products, promos and festival favorites, including a tie-dye station and signature claw machine with Bud & Mary’s. To top everything off, guests can enjoy a fireworks show at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
“This is the third year our leadership team has generously hosted all Higher Love staff — from all nine retail locations, our grow facility and headquarters — for an incredible day of music, food, drinks and celebration,” Retail Director Mary Hegstrom said. “It’s a chance to recognize our team, our accomplishments and the spirit of summer. I love that what began as an employee appreciation event has evolved into a one-of-a-kind festival for all to enjoy.”
More than $5,000 in door prizes will be given out all weekend long to those who register at findhigherlove.com/summerjubilee2025. All winners must be present at the festival to claim their prize.
