IRON MOUNTAIN — Several area establishments will celebrate the Halloween holiday this weekend.

Local band Money 2 Burn will play a variety of rock music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Saturday for the annual Halloween party at LABRANCHE TAVERN. They will have a costume contest at midnight with cash prizes for first through third place.

At VENUE 906 in Kingsford, Mr. Black Presents will lead the Halloween party, “Magick,” beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday. It will take patrons deep into the enchanted forest, so get cauldrons, cloaks, wands, divining rods, pointy hats and spellbooks ready for a night of mischief, trickery, ritual and enchantment. The event will feature an interactive booths, a scavenger hunt, cash prize costume contest, themed refreshments and dance party full of magical hijinx and (accidental) hexes courtesy of DJ Orko. Costume judging begins at 8:30 p.m., with prizes and awards given at 9:30 p.m.

Morning Star Karaoke will entertain the crowd for the Halloween party from 8 p.m. to midnight Saturday at NUTTER’S SPORTS BAR in Powers. They will have a costume contest, with judging at midnight. Cash prizes is $125 for first, $75 for second and $50 for third. They will also have drink specials.
