Bad Axe Rodeo to appear at C&R on Saturday

Bad Axe Rodeo featuring Andy Gibbons of Nashville will perform Saturday at the C&R in Aurora, Wis.

NORWAY — The country group Bad Axe Rodeo, featuring Andy Gibbons of Nashville, will appear Saturday at the C&R in Aurora, Wis. Music will start at 9 p.m.

Joining Gibbons on lead vocals for Bad Axe Rodeo will be Damian “Super P” Lakomy, vocals and guitar; “Dangerous” Dan Morin, vocals and bass guitar; Rob “Hoss” Hostettler, vocals and guitar; and Brent Hostettler, vocals and drums

CUCULI’S BAR, CHANNING — Friday, Talent Quest International Karaoke Contest, Preliminary Round for the U.P., starting at 7 p.m. Singers can choose from three categories — pop/rock, country and masters, age 50 and older. Each week a male and female winner will be selected in each category and move on to compete against each other. Local level contestant entry fee is $10.
