The Bear Creek Band

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Bear Creek Band of Melrose, Wis., will perform today through Saturday at Club Four One at the Island Resort & Casino in Harris, Mich.

The variety rock and country band will start at 7:30 p.m. Central time.

ROUND 2, IRON MOUNTAIN — Friday, Glow Dance Party, doors open at 8 p.m., with party at 9 p.m. FlyVibez and Curio Productions have teamed up to kick off spring to bring a night of dancing, music and color. Dress up as bright as you can and let’s get the whole party glowing and bumping. There is a $10 cover for guys and $3 cover for ladies. Tickets can be purchased in advance at FlyVibez to guarantee entry.

PINE GROVE BAR, REPUBLIC — Friday, Boots and Sandals Trio of the Marquette area (country and classic rock music), 6 to 9 p.m. Central time.

Saturday — Singer-songwriter Jeff McNiven of Mount Morris, Mich. (country, rock and indie folk music), 2 to 5 p.m.; St. Patrick’s Day Bash with Swampberry Moonshine of the Marquette area (rock and roll country music), 7 to 11 p.m. Central time.

Sunday — Gena and Hozz of the Negaunee/Marquette area (variety rock acoustic music), 2 to 5 p.m. Central time.

DOCKERS ON NOQUEBAY, Crivitz, Wis. — Friday, karaoke with DJ Paris Nights (variety music), starting at 8 p.m.

Saturday — Music trivia and open mic with Pine Beach Boys (variety music), starting 8 p.m.

CUCULI’S BAR, CHANNING — Saturday, Talent Quest International Karaoke Contest for the U.P. Preliminary Round, starting at 7 p.m. Singers can choose from three categories — pop/rock; country; and masters, age 50 and older. Each week a male and female winner will be selected in each category and move on to compete against each other. Local level contestant entry fee is $10.
