IRON MOUNTAIN -- Norton, Chartier & Company will entertain the crowd Friday at Sandstone Terrace in Iron Mountain for the Holy Spirit Catholic School German-themed fundraiser.
The local classic rock group will play from 7 to 10 p.m.
Doors open at 3 p.m., with serving of the authentic German food to start about 4:30 p.m.
They will offer grilled Bell's beer brats with assorted toppings, including homemade sauerkraut; hot German potato salad; rotkohl, or German red cabbage; and pretzel sticks served with beer dip. Along with three traditional German sweets including Donauwellen kuchen, a Danube wave cake with chocolate and vanilla cake and cherries; versunken apfelkuchen, or sunken apple cake; and German pecan caramel rolls.
Takeouts are also available.
The Holy Spirit Catholic School will also have volunteers selling tickets at the entrance for the school's annual fundraiser raffle. Tickets are $20 each.
Entertainment on the Terrace kicks off tonight for the weekend with Scott Johnson of the local area playing a variety of acoustic music from 6 to 9 p.m.
On Saturday, Sean Cyphers of Grand Rapids in lower Michigan will take stage from 7 to 10 p.m., performing a variety or rock, folk and country acoustic music.
D.B. Rouse of Milwaukee will be the featured artist at the Sunday FUNdraiser Day, playing Americana music from 4 to 7 p.m. The suggested donation is a $5 cover charge, with 100% going to Moxie Moms.
Miles Williams of Texas, nephew of Hank Williams Jr., will make a local stop on his Midwest tour on Wednesday at the Terrace. Williams, known as a "red dirt Texas country" artist, will perform from 6 to 9 p.m.
