Three local bands take stage at Italian Fest Saturday

AURORA, Wis. -- The 19th-annual Italian Fest, hosted by the Iron Mountain Downtown Development Authority and sponsored by LiUNA Local 1329, takes place from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday in the downtown parking lot at East A and Iron Mountain streets.

The Sounds of Time with Jan and Gina will perform from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m., with The Kind of Blues Band to take stage from 3:30 to 7 p.m.

The popular local band Next Myle will headline from 7:45 to 11 p.m.

Live entertainment is sponsored by the Tourism Association of the Dickinson County Area.

Admission is $10 and children 12 and younger are admitted free.

Thursday, Aug. 13 -- The DayDreamers of the Marquette area (variety music), 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Food and beverage truck vendors are Millie's Market and 906 Pop Culture.

SANDSTONE TERRACE, IRON MOUNTAIN -- Today, Aaron Simmons of Stewartville, Minn. (country acoustic music), 6 to 9 p.m.
