Music planned at Norway event on Saturday

NORWAY -- Two bands will be entertaining the Leif Erikson Fall Festival crowd on Saturday.

The Goodfellas of the Menominee-Marinette, Wis., area, will kick off the music at 10:45 a.m. They play a variety of old standards from the '40s, rock and roll from the '50s on up, and country.

The Escanaba group Grand Design Band takes stage at 1 p.m. They perform a wide variety of music.

Venue 906, Kingsford -- Today, Logan Kinsella of the local area (variety acoustic music), doors open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 12 -- Pizza and Beer Tasting event with music by Todd Wangerin of the local area (variety acoustic music), doors open at 5 p.m. and music starts at 6 p.m.

Big 10 Sports Bar & Grill, Quinnesec -- Today, Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), 8 p.m. to midnight.

Woody's Bar & Grill, Crivitz, Wis. -- Friday, Beachfront Avenue of Green Bay, Wis. (variety acoustic music), starting at 7 p.m.

The Four Seasons Resort, Pembine, Wis. -- Friday, Safe Sax featuring Michael Prusinsky of Port Washington, Wis., on sax and vocals (variety music), 6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday -- Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), 9 p.m. to midnight.

Pine Grove Bar, Republic -- Friday, Brad Perala Unplugged of Marquette (variety of rock 'n' roll and country acoustic music), starting at 7 p.m.

Saturday -- Lillian Manceau of Marquette (acoustic music), 2 to 5 p.m.; Bush Hunter of the Marquette area (classic rock music), 8 p.m. to midnight.

Island Resort & Casino, Harris -- Friday and Saturday, Norton, Chartier & Co. of the local area (variety classic rock music), 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Sandstone Terrace, 220 Iron Mountain St., Iron Mountain -- Saturday, End of the Season Party with Scott Johnson of the local area (acoustic music), 5 to 7 p.m., and 141 North of Iron Mountain (variety music), 7 to 11 p.m. They will have the Curious Pig food truck offering a variety of fall foods. They will also be giving out prizes throughout the evening.

Cedars Edge Wine & Gifts, Niagara, Wis. -- Saturday, Oktoberfest from noon to 5 p.m. with Safe Sax featuring Michael Prusinsky of Port Washington, Wis., on sax and vocals (variety music). The Niagara Lions will be providing brats (for donation) and the Niagara Women's Club will have baked goods for sale.

Coyote's Den, Athelstane, Wis. -- Saturday, Money Shot Acoustic of the local area (acoustic rock music), 6 to 10 p.m.

River North Pub & Grill, Iron River -- Saturday, End of summer party starting at noon with DJ music, pool and cornhole tournaments and drink specials.

The Gateway Bar & Grill, Crivitz, Wis. -- Saturday, The Stehlman of Peshtigo, Wis. (variety country music), playing for the meat, booze and more raffle, starting at 3 p.m.

Uncle Mike's Corner Pub & Grill, Crivitz, Wis. -- Saturday, Little Cisco of the Green Bay, Wis., area (rockin' blues music), starting at 7 p.m.

The Maxx Entertainment Center in Iron Mountain -- Tuesday, open jam night, 4 to 9 p.m.

Henry's Steakhouse, Kingsford -- Wednesday, Leo Gorzinski of the local area (variety acoustic music), 6 to 9 p.m.

Wild Horse Saloon, Iron Mountain -- Every day, rock/country music videos jukebox, played on six big-screen TVs.
