Toys for Tots fundraiser Saturday at Sol Blu

IRON MOUNTAIN -- Sol Blu in Iron Mountain will host the 76th year of the Marine Corps Toys for Tots from 4 to 11 p.m. Saturday.

The local group Schizophonic will entertain the crowd from 6 to 9 p.m.

They will also be conducting raffles and a silent auction, along with snacks and drink specials throughout the evening.

Organizers hope to surpass last year's donations and ask that attendees help by bringing a toy to fill the boxes, along with a minimum donation of $5.

All the toys and donations raised will stay in Dickinson County.

Venue 906, Kingsford -- Today, Morningstar Karaoke (variety music), doors open at 5 p.m., karaoke begins at 6 p.m.

Saturday -- The Santa & Mrs. Claus Experience with Christmas music by Speako Chords from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

They will also have crafts, hot cocoa bar, horse-drawn wagon rides and photo booth. Contact the Venue for arrival time.

Oak Crest Golf Club, Norway -- Today, Trivia Time starting at 6 p.m.

The Four Seasons Resort, Pembine, Wis. -- Friday, Todd Wangerin of the local area (variety acoustic music), 6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday -- Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), 8 p.m. to midnight.

Island Resort & Casino, Harris -- Friday and Saturday, Nolium of Ironwood ('90s classic rock music), 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Pine Grove Bar, Republic -- Friday, Ethan Bott of the Marquette area (variety country music), 8 to 11 p.m. Eastern time.

Saturday -- Ugly Sweater Party with Spun of Marquette (rock 'n' roll music), 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern time. Contest at midnight. They will also have Jell-O shot specials.

Tripp's Tavern, Niagara, Wis. -- Saturday, Ugly Sweater Christmas Party with Misery and Gin featuring Bob Hostettler, Brent Hostettler and Dan Morin of the local area starting at 6 p.m. They will have an ugly sweater contest and 50-50 drawing. All proceeds will go to The Caring House.

The Maxx Entertainment Center, Iron Mountain -- Tuesdays, open jam from 4 to 9 p.m.

The Red Arrow, Felch -- Tuesday, Ladies Night Ugly Sweater and Cookie Decorating party with karaoke, drink specials and door prizes, starting at 6 p.m.

Wild Horse Saloon, Iron Mountain -- Every day, rock/country music videos jukebox, played on six big-screen TVs.
