Music Saturday at Oak Crest course

NORWAY — The Make-Believe Spurs of Marquette will appear Saturday at Oak Crest Golf Course in Norway.

The Americana-alt folk group will play from 5 to 9 p.m.

There will be a $5 cover charge.

Venue 906, Kingsford — Today, Dewey and Evan Blagec of the local area (variety and original acoustic music), doors open at 5 p.m., with the music to start at 6 p.m.

The Maxx Entertainment Center, Iron Mountain — Today, Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), starting at 7 p.m.

Tuesdays — Open jam night from 4 to 9 p.m.

Mayme’s, Iron Mountain — Friday, Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), starting at 8 p.m.

Round 2, formerly The Blind Pig, Iron Mountain — Friday, Karaoke (variety music), starting at 10:30 p.m.

The Four Seasons Resort, Pembine, Wis. — Friday, Melanie Rose of the local area (acoustic variety music), 6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday — Mane Event Karaoke (variety music), 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Pine Grove Bar, Republic — Friday, Iron Daisy Acoustic featuring Michal Hauswirth and Gena Johnson of the Negaunee/Marquette area, (variety acoustic music), 8 to 11 p.m. Eastern time.

Saturday — Toni Saari of the Ishpeming area (acoustic music), 3 to 6 p.m. Eastern time; Chicken Stanley of the Marquette area (country music), 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern time.

Island Resort & Casino, Harris — Today through Saturday, Asphalt Cowboys (variety country music) 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.

Amasa Sawblade Bar & Grill, Amasa — Saturday, Money Shot Acoustic of the local area (acoustic rock music), starting at 8 p.m.

R Place, Powers — Sunday, Friday Night Lights fundraiser featuring music by Leo IV of Powers (variety music), 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. They will also have food, raffles, bake sale and auction. Proceeds to update lights at the football field, repair field turf and work on the basketball court at North Central School District.

Wild Horse Saloon, Iron Mountain — Every day, rock/country music videos jukebox, played on six big-screen TVs.
