141 North, Safe Sax at Niagara Lions Club picnic

NIAGARA, Wis. — Two local bands will entertain the crowd this weekend for the annual Niagara Lions Club Community Picnic at Heights Park in Niagara.
Festivities kick off at 4 p.m. Friday, with the opening of the park.
The bean bag tournament begins at 5:30 p.m. Anyone interested in taking part can register at 4 p.m.
Safe Sax, featuring Michael Prusinsky of Port Washington, Wis., on sax and vocals, will begin at 7 p.m.
The park grounds will open at 11:30 a.m. Saturday. Kids can enjoy the bounce house starting at 1 p.m.
The community parade will step off at 2 p.m., followed by the coronation of Miss Niagara at 3 p.m. and First Lady and Mr. Niagara at about 4 p.m. at the park.
Winners of the special fireworks cash raffle will be announced at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 each or three for $20 and are available for purchase at area businesses. They will draw for 17 cash prizes. Winners do not need to be present to win.
The local variety county band 141 North takes the stage at 7 p.m. to play for the evening.
The fireworks display will begin at dusk.
A variety of food and refreshments will be available for purchase both days at the park.
