IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Library will host an antiques appraisal event with author and antiques expert Mark Moran at 10 a.m. Saturday at the main location in Iron Mountain.

There is no charge for spectators to attend this program; all appraisals are open for viewing to the public.

Those with an item to be appraised must register for a time slot and pay an appraisal fee of $15 per item.

Suggested items for appraisal include: fine art, furniture, ceramics, glassware, vintage photographs, folk art, advertising, assorted toys, metalware, clocks, costume jewelry, musical instruments, books, and sports memorabilia.

Excluded items include all weapons, traps, fine jewelry including precious gems, coins, paper money and Beanie Babies.
