NORWAY — The Norway Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4581 will meet at 7:30 on Tuesday, Nov. 7, at the post building, which is a change from its usual second Thursday date. The change was made due to the Veterans Day banquet at the Norway Legion hall on Thursday, Nov. 9. 

The 75th consecutive annual banquet that Thursday will feature a catered dinner, an as yet undetermined quest speaker, and numerous door prizes.

A cash bar will be available. Tickets are $15 per person and may be ordered from Post commander Ryan Spence or adjutant Dennis Lynch.  Limited tickets may be available at the door.

This year’s banquet is sponsored by the Dickinson Area Veterans Alliance, an organization formed to support projects not allowed to the Dickinson County Office of Veterans Affairs, a government agency, which was approved in last November’s general election.
