NORWAY — The Norway-Vulcan Senior Center has a number of special upcoming dinners and activities:

Today — Easter dinner at noon, with ham, scalloped potatoes, carrots and onions, soup and salad bar that will open at 11 a.m., plus fruit, juice and dessert. Bingo with prizes will be played. They also will have a 50-50 drawing.

Monday — Center will be closed after Easter.

Tuesday, April 3 — Welcome Spring noon meal, with breaded chicken breast, mashed potatoes and gravy, broccoli, soup and salad bar, fruit, juice and dessert. Bingo with prizes will be played. They also will have a 50-50 drawing.

April 4 — Blood pressure clinic, 11 a.m. to noon.

April 9 — Center board meeting, 10 a.m.

April 9 — Dinner at 5 p.m., with company chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, soup and salad bar and dessert. Bingo with prizes will be played. They also will have a 50-50 drawing.

April 10 — CSFP green card food distribution, 8:30 to 9 a.m., old Northland building.

April 14 — Pasty sale for $5 each. All orders must be picked up by noon. The sale is a fundraiser for the center.

April 18 — Blood pressure clinic, 11 a.m. to noon.

April 18 — Noon meal with pizza burgers, tater tots, peas, salad bar, fruit, juice and dessert.

April 18 — Dinner at 5 p.m., with barbecue ribs, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetables, soup and salad bar, and dessert. Bingo with prizes will be played. They also will have a 50-50 drawing.

April 19 — Birthday Club, celebrating April birthdays. Menu will include meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, soup and salad bar, fruit, juice and birthday cake. Everyone celebrating a birthday will have their photo added to the wall.

April 24 — Earth Day dinner at noon, with lasagna, winter blend vegetables, garlic bread, soup and salad bar, fruit, juice and dessert. Bingo with prizes will be played. They also will have a 50-50 drawing.

Suggest meal donation is $5. Soup and salad bar is ready at 11 a.m., with dinner served at noon. Reservations are asked to be made by calling the center in advance at 906-563-8716.

The 2018 center membership cards are available at the front desk for $5.

Volunteers are always welcome.

The center at 608 Main St. in Norway is open Monday through Thursday.
