FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Fair will host its third smear tournament this year on Saturday, April 28, at the Florence Community Center.

Registration will begin at 5 p.m. with the tournament starting at 6. The fee to enter is $10 per person. They are two person teams.

The tournament will be a four-point smear game and prizes will be awarded for first through fifth places. There will also be door prizes drawn after the tournament.

A small luncheon will be available for purchase along with beverages including soda and beer. Bake sale items provided by local bakers will be available as well. Chips and pretzels will be provided. No carry-ins will be permitted.

All proceeds will go to support the building and ground improvements at the Fair Park.
