NORWAY — A Yoopers Fighting Alzheimer’s picnic and pickleball tournament is planned July 12 at Marion Park.

The potluck picnic will start at 5:30 p.m. in the pavilion. Everyone is asked to bring a dish to pass.

A representative from the U.P. Alzheimers Association in Marquette will be in attendance.

The pickleball tournament will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the courts at Marion Park.

Those interested in participating can call or text message Wayne Backlund at 269-753-2112. They will only be taking 16 teams.
