IRON RIVER — The Northwoods Animal Shelter of Iron River will host its annual Christmas bake sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday at the Crystal Lumber Showroom, across the parking lot from the main building in Crystal Falls.

There will be an assortment of homemade baked goods, jams and jellies. They will also have drawing for items that include a Christmas wreath and a 50-by-70-inch homemade Christmas quilt.

They need donations of goodies for the sale as well. Bakers are welcome to drop off baked goods at the shelter from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday or bring them directly to the Crystal Lumber showroom by 10 a.m. Friday.

Proceeds will benefit shelter animals that are waiting for that special family to give them a loving home.
