EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — The Enchanted Doll Club of the Northwoods will have its first meeting of the new year at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, in the Eagle Room of the Walter E. Olson Memorial Library in Eagle River.

The doll club’s meetings will have a different format beginning with this January meeting. A program by Judy Wainwright of Eagle River, “Sewn in America: Dolls and their Patterns,” will be begin promptly at 1 p.m. After Wainwright’s program, refreshments will be served.

After refreshments, an open forum will begin on any topic related to dolls, such as Christmas dolls received, any doll news in general and other club members’ sewing projects.

Anyone interested in dolls or sewing for dolls is welcomed to attend the meeting.
