Ann Mindok memorial books on display

The Ann Mindok Memorial Fund selections will be on display at the Dickinson County Library’s Main Branch through Monday.

IRON MOUNTAIN – The Dickinson County Library of Iron Mountain has announced the establishment of a new memorial fund to remember and honor the life of Ann Mindok, an avid reader who enjoyed books about sewing and crafts, as well as biographies and autobiographies of women.

The following adult non-fiction titles in the memorial fund will be on display through March 18 at the library in Iron Mountain, in honor of Mindok’s March 14 birthday.

They include:

“30 Knit Ponchos and Capes” by Rita Maassen;

“About My Mother: True Stories of a Horse-Crazy Daughter and her Baseball Obsessed Mother: A Memoir” by Peggy Rowe;

“Breaking Cover: My Secret Life in the CIA and What it Taught Me About What’s Worth Fighting For” by Michele Rigby Assad;

“Brioche Chic: 22 Fresh Knits for Women and Men” by Mercedes Tarasovich-Clark;

“Creative Adventures in Cursive: Write with Glue, String, Markers, Paint and Icing” by Rachelle Doorley;

“Lady First: The World of First Lady Sarah Polk” by Amy S. Greenberg;

“The Martha Manual: How to Do (Almost) Everything” by Martha Stewart.
