Niagara Knights smear tournament winners listed

NIAGARA, Wis. — The Knights of Columbus Council 2847 of Niagara has announced its winners of their annual smear tournament.

Pat Verrette served as grand marshal for the evening.

Winners include: first place, Tony and Kathy Borkowski, two $50 Annie’s T&T gift certificates, donated by MJ Electric; second, Sharon Sleik and Joanne Scheiter, two whole hams from Econo Foods; third, Glen and Gertie Church, two $20 gift certificates from Double D Restaurant; fourth, Clarice Aimone and Fran Pickett, two $20 gift certificates from Bob’s Country Bar: fifth, Paul Trybom and Dave Mangone, two $20 gift certificates from C&R Bar; sixth, Ed Sarder and Dave Stohl, turkeys from Great Lake Fresh Market; seventh, Gary and Tricia Cahee, haircut from Pat’s on Mane; eighth, Peggy and Tony Weber, pizzas from Uptown Lanes and Lounge; ninth, Stan Helgren and Gary Burke, $10 gift certificates from Red Brick Inn. Last place, Ben Patterson and Dan Schroeder, Biggest Loser certificates and two pitchers of beer from the Big Ten Sports Bar and Grill.

Donated giveaway prizes were from Four Seasons Beer Distributor, Forward Financial Credit Union, 41 Lumber, R.A.S Distributing, Pizza Hut, MJ Electric, Niagara Mechanical, Joe Church Logging, Bimbo’s, Linda and Dan Decker and Thomas Industries.

The Knights thank all participants and their sponsors who make the smear tournament a huge success.
