Alzheimer’s programs set
IRON MOUNTAIN — Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Iron Mountain will offer two free education programs for the public Wednesday, given by the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater Michigan Chapter.
“Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia” will be 10 to 11 a.m. and “Effective Communication” is from 11 a.m. to noon.
The public is invited to learn about the effects of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, Alzheimer’s disease stages and risk factors, current research and treatments available to address some symptoms.
