MARQUETTE — Lake Superior Chapter of State Employee Retirees Association will meet at noon Eastern time Wednesday at Northern Michigan University for a luncheon and presentation.

Marquette Township Planning Director Jason McCarthy will give retirees an overview and description of the future of roundabouts to Pete’s Pass.

Work already has begun on the roundabouts and pedestrian pathways planned for the traffic corridor in Marquette Township. McCarthy will tell about this and other township plans.

Blue Cross Blue Shield Michigan Retirees representative Arva Overton also will make a short presentation about health resources at the meeting.

All state of Michigan retirees are welcomed at the luncheon, which will feature a choice of whitefish, pork or vegetarian entrees in NMU’s newly remodeled University Center Ballroom D.
