Jacqueline and Nicholas Smith

MARQUETTE — Jacqueline Rule and Nicholas Smith exchanged marriage vows on Aug. 14, 2018, in an intimate ceremony on the shore of Lake Huron near Alpena in Lower Michigan.

The bride is the daughter of William Scott and Mary Rule of Marquette.

The groom is the son of Dr. Donald and Beverly Smith of Crystal Falls.

Jacqueline is employed as the lead pre-school teacher and assistant business manager at the Chocolay Children’s Center In Marquette.

Nicholas is employed as an registered nurse at the U.P. Health System in Marquette.

The couple plan to renew their wedding vows with friends and family in September on Marquette Mountain, with a celebration to follow in the ski lodge.
