APRIL FITZGERALD TURNER

QUINNESEC — A cancer benefit for April Fitzgerald Turner is planned for 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Big 10 Sports Bar and Grill in Quinnesec.

Funds raised will help with medical expenses. She has had multiple sclerosis for the past 13 years and on May 14 was diagnosed with breast cancer, so had a double mastectomy July 1. 

Food will be provided by Curious Pig smoked food restaurant. 

There also will be 50-50s and other drawings, and a card drawing for four Green Bay Packers tickets.

They ask for a $10 donation for adults and $5 for children younger than age 10.
