KINGSFORD — The Parkinson Society of Dickinson County, a support group for Parkinson’s disease patients, caregivers, family and friends, will host a summer picnic Thursday, July 18, at the First Presbyterian Church, 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford. The meeting will begin at 10 a.m.

Chicken, coffee, lemonade and table settings will be provided. Those attending are asked to bring a side dish to share.

“We hope to have a good attendance to celebrate the beginning of our fifth year,” said Pauline Hill, group facilitator.

All Parkinson patients in the area are invited. No dues or fees are needed to join.

“Just come and enjoy a day of summer fun, sharing and social interaction,” she said.
