LeQuia —50th anniversary

FUZZY AND LINDA LEQUIA, Sept. 6, 1969

FELCH TOWNSHIP — Fuzzy Jr. and Linda LeQuia of Felch today will mark 50 years of love, faith and family.

They were married Sept. 6, 1969, at Sacred Heart Church in Aurora, Wis. Best man was Tom Quick Sr., maid of honor was Fran Mills (Mitchem) and attendants were David Erdman and Roxanne Erdman (Rintala), Danny McDowell and Deborah LeQuia-Skytta.

They lived in Kingsford and later in Homestead, Wis., plus a short time in Marquette and in Milwaukee, before settling in Felch to raise their three daughters. They now spend winters in Arizona and the rest of the year in that same Felch home.

Both are retired — Linda from North Dickinson County School in Felch Township and Fuzzy from Systems Control Inc. of Iron Mountain.

Their children and grandchildren are: Brenda (Kirk) Mattson, with sons Hunter and Dugan; Rebecca (Chad) Steinbrecher, with daughters Julia and Kathryn and son Lucas; and Teresa (Brad) Barglind, with sons Braden and Briar.

A private celebration hosted by their daughters is planned to honor the LeQuias’ 50 years together.
