Local women’s club chapter to gather Oct. 4
IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford chapter of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs will have its general meeting at noon Friday, Oct. 4, at the Chippewa Club in Iron Mountain.
The menu includes croque monsieur, with soup and dessert, for $22.
Guest speaker will be Terry Ann Sovey as Barbara Bush, a leader in literacy. October is membership month, so each member is encouraged to bring a guest. If they do, members will be entered into a drawing for a double string of vintage pearls.
