Welcome to Medicare Workshop set in Aurora

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County will sponsor another Welcome to Medicare Workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College/Hillcrest school, 2030 Calvary Drive in Aurora, Wis.

Janice Jonet, the Florence County elder benefits specialist, will have a PowerPoint presentation to help explain what to expect when turning 65 or receiving Medicare due to a disability, regarding health care needs and Medicare benefits.

The workshop is ideal for people who will be turning 65 in the upcoming months as well as anyone who will be newly eligible for Medicare. It will also be helpful to any Medicare beneficiary who has questions or concerns regarding complicated Medicare options and benefits.

This workshop is free and open to the public but reservations are encouraged. Attendees can pre-register by calling the ADRC of Florence County at 715-528-4890 or toll free at 855-528-2372.
