Daughters Circle 167 meets Nov. 7

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Daughters of Isabella Congress Circle 367 will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, at the Immaculate Conception Faith Formation Center in Iron Mountain. Betty Simon will serve as hostess.

This will be the start of the new year for the D of I membership, with dues of $30 due starting Nov. 1.

The circle met Oct. 3 with a special welcome for honored guest Mary Zagorski Graver, past state regent of Flushings, Mich., and Suzanne Hogan, past state financial secretary of Waterford, Mich., who were present for installation of officers.

Elected officers for the 2020 are: regent, Barbara Bedard; vice/past regent, Marcene Fuse; treasurer, Dorothy Burkart; financial secretary/acting secretary, Betty Simon; historian, Dolores Hamby; auditor, Marlene Johnson and Lucille Villa; first guide, Dorothy Schinderle; and spiritual advisor, Monsignor James Kaczmarek.

Communication was received from a sister circle downstate, inviting the group to attend their upcoming bazaar.

The Hail Mary prayer for October will be Jack Baker of Waterford, Mich., submitted by Suzanne Hogan.
