Taste of Chocolate on Saturday in Norway

NORWAY — The Taste of Chocolate fundraiser will 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church hall in Norway.

Several gifts for children will be auctioned off, including an “Emerson” American Girl doll and a brand new Razor kick scooter with protective gear.

Several valuable gift baskets will be offered as well, along with door prizes and hourly drawings.

The theme this year is “Holiday Tea Time.” Jake Menghini Memorial Museum in Norway will display a selection of antique teapots and tea paraphernalia, and serve tea and coffee along with samples of dozens of different forms of chocolate candies, truffles, cookies, bars and other more traditional holiday offerings. Coffee, punch, cheese, sausage and crackers also will be served.

An assortment of homemade favorites can be purchased in $3 or $5 boxes.

Admission is $5, with proceeds benefitting museum operations.
