IRON MOUNTAIN — The Rev. Bryan Laurila on Nov. 24 took over as pastor of First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Iron Mountain.

Installation officers were Russell Hagberg, chairman of the board of trustees, and William Haigh.

Board members Glenn Edlund, Ted Mendini and Kirk Pietrantonio stood witness to the ceremony.

A reception for Laurila, his wife, Melissa, and their children and grandchildren took place after the installation service.

“We are excited about the future ministry of our church under the leadership of our new pastor,” said a church spokesperson.
