IRON MOUNTAIN — Area moms are invited to gather with other local mothers at the Mothers of Preschoolers, or MOPS, meeting at 9:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16 at First Covenant Church in Iron Mountain.

The meetings on the first and third Thursdays of the month from September through May are open to those pregnant through those with school-aged children who seek authentic connection, support and personal growth in life and faith.

The group also is in need of a volunteer child care coordinator and volunteer child care workers for baby, toddler or children’s rooms.

The commitment is once to twice a month for 2 1/2 hours each meeting.
