ESCANABA — The Man Cave in Escanaba established a scholarship at Bay College to be awarded to a Delta County resident. The recipient of the scholarship for Academic Year 2019-2020 is Sophia Wessel, an Escanaba resident pursing an associate in arts degree.

Tonia Curry, owner of the Man Cave stated, “We are excited to give back to the community by supporting a Bay College scholarship and to help students reach their goal of earning a college degree. We would like to wish Sophia the best of luck in her future endeavors.”

Students are encouraged to apply for scholarships online at www.baycollege.edu/scholarships. Bay College awards nearly 300 scholarships each year to future, current and returning students. Funding for scholarships is made possible through private donations to the Bay College Foundation by businesses, organizations, and individuals through endowment, estate and annual contributions.

Those interested in creating a scholarship can contact the Bay College Foundation at 906-217-1700 or email foundation@baycollege.edu or go to www.baycollege.edu/foundation.
