IRON RIVER — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the J. Patrick White conference room at the West Iron District Library in Iron River.

The group will view the lecture “Your Ancestors in State Records” from the DVD, “Discovering Your Roots: An Introduction to Genealogy.”

Whether a veteran or just beginning a genealogical search, this lecture should be of great interest and very helpful.

Meetings are open to all individuals and are monthly in the J. Patrick White conference room of the West Iron District Library in Iron River.
