Jennifer Gauthier, a preschool teacher at Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Iron Mountain, wanted to connect with her students, so she used an idea from the “Flat Stanley” books by Jeff Brown and mailed a “flat” Mrs. Gauthier to each student. That way, the students could take her on all their adventures during this time of distance learning.
