Arvella Rudd of Kingsford recently was honored for her special 90th birthday. There was a motorcade of vehicles and motorcycles with horns blowing, birthday signs and many well wishers yelling and singing “Happy Birthday.” Attendees not only stopped by from the Iron Mountain-Kingsford area, they came from Florence, Crivitz and Wausaukee in Wisconsin to help her celebrate. She received hundreds of cards, phone calls and flowers. The celebration continued with friends and family all day. Rudd said it was a day she will never forget.
