IRON MOUNTAIN — Ron Wagner of Iron Mountain will be among the artists taking part of Cities Wide Art for All.

Wagner is a retired woodworker who creates unique household items. Some of his artwork includes bird houses, feeders, tables, lazy Susans, trivets wine racks and more.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, rather than the traditional Art for All at Iron Mountain’s City Park, this year will be a home-based Cities Wide Art for All show. Artists will set up in garages or on lawns from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27, with two artists to be open Sunday, June 28, as well.

Visitors are invited to drive to the artist’s homes to make purchases. Two or three artists may set up at one house, just like a city-wide garage sale or home and garden show.

Maps will be available on the website at artforallmi.com, at First Bank and First National Bank & Trust, highlighting artist locations in Vulcan, Norway, Iron Mountain and Kingsford plus Spread Eagle and Niagara in Wisconsin.

While the grown-ups view the artwork, children are invited to participate in a scavenger hunt, trying to spot a hidden object in each yard. There will be no prizes, but the fun is in the searching.

“We ask that visitors wear masks and only touch artwork if they plan to purchase it,” said Lana Frantz, event coordinator.
