20 Time Project donation

Mary Lynn Verley, owner of Rainbow’s End Alpacas and Rainbow Gifts and founder of Alpaca Love, donated hand-knitted items to Norway-Vulcan Area School sixth-grade students Tessa Castelaz, left, and Kaylee Baldwin for their 20 Time Project. The girls recently put together 100 “comfort” bags for the oncology unit at Dickinson County Healthcare Systems in Iron Mountain. The bags were filled with snacks, comfort items and other things to pass the time. The two students decided to they wanted to help cancer patients for their 20 Percent Time Project for Jacqueline Leiker’s technology class.
