Geno Schinderle, the 15-year-old son of Stacy and Butch Schinderle of Iron Mountain, was diagnosed with T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia on Nov. 19. The Schinderles are in the PICU at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wis. Iron Mountain School organizers Carrie Stroud, Jennifer Geneva and Jackie Geneva recently purchased bracelets that are being sold for $10 each to help fund a ski trip Geno had planned before his diagnosis. A Go Fund Me page named “We’re All in — Fighting With Geno” has been set up to raise funds for the Schinderle family and for medical expenses. Bracelets were purchased and given to everyone in the freshman class. The rest of the bracelets are being sold to the public for $10, with all money supporting the Schinderle family.
