St. Norbert College to present ‘Knight Theatre Through The Years’

De Pere, Wis. — Knight Theatre, St. Norbert College’s student-run theatre troupe, will present “Knight Theatre Through the Years,” a cabaret-style show featuring selections from shows presented over the group’s 27-year history.

Performances will be at the Walter Theatre in the Abbot Pennings Hall of Fine Arts on the St. Norbert College campus as well as virtually via livestream. The shows Thursday and Friday, Feb. 4-5, will be at 7:30 p.m., while the matinee performance Saturday, Feb. 6, will be at 2 p.m.

When pandemic restrictions changed Knight Theatre’s plans for a fully staged show, the group’s student leadership team became determined to find a way to mount a production while keeping actors, staff and crew physically distanced, safe and healthy.

St. Norbert College Knight Theatre is a student organization dedicated to staging a musical theatre production each year, with a month-long rehearsal schedule that culminates in several public performances. Every aspect of the show is coordinated and performed by St. Norbert students — from actors and pit musicians to designers, directors and producers. Knight Theatre productions play to hundreds of audience members each year.

“Knight Theatre Through The Years” is directed by Annicka Rabida of Oneida, Wis. The design team includes Jeana Palmer of Kingsford and assistant Emily Mizinak of Iron Mountain, handling costume design, makeup and hair design.

Tickets for the event can be purchased at the box office by calling 920-403-3950 or online at https:// www.snc.edu/tickets/. All reserved seats and livestreams are $12.
