2 min read

IRON MOUNTAIN --The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society Stamp Club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 16, in the Fellowship Room at First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is located between Domino's Pizza and Slumberland Furniture.

A short business meeting will be followed by an educational program, and the usual informal Stamp Club auction. Members are encouraged to bring up to five lots for the auction, and the club also will auction lots of recently acquired stamps.

The Northwoods Philatelic Society promotes the fun and fellowship of stamp collecting. The club is comprised of members from both Michigan and Wisconsin and is open to students as well as adults. Collectors range from very new to sophisticated. Membership is free, and the only requirement is the desire to learn about stamp collecting. The meetings are fun and informal, and everyone is welcome.

As required by the First Lutheran Church, social distancing will be in effect, face masks worn correctly and hand sanitizer used when appropriate. The face masks and hand sanitizer will be provided if needed.
