Blood drive held
Niagara High School student Evan Bruemmer, along with Red Cross Donor-Site Manager Cindi Olson fill out the paperwork for his blood donation. Niagara High School typically hosts the drive twice per school year. Due to the current pandemic, there is a critical need for blood, which is essential for surgeries, cancer treatment, chronic illnesses, and traumatic injuries. Whether a patient receives whole blood, red cells, platelets or plasma, this lifesaving care starts with one person making a generous donation. The Red Cross holds about 500 blood drives every day.
