Deadline on Saturday for first Historical Wabeno Art Challenge

WABENO, Wis. — The Friends of Wabeno will host its first Historic Wabeno Art Challenge, open to anyone who would like to create an original piece of artwork showcasing Wabeno’s history and culture. Applications are due Saturday.

All creations will be displayed at the Wabeno Logging Museum over the summer. There will be awards, and an opportunity for the artists to sell their work. The challenge will conclude at the annual Wabeno Art & Music Festival on Aug. 7.

The application, along with challenge guidelines, deadlines, resources and ideas, are available on the Wabeno Art and Music Festival website, https://wabenoartandmusicfest.org.
