IRON MOUNTAIN — The Raja Ryhma Finnish American group midsummer picnic is set for Saturday.

The event, known as Juhannus to the Finns, will be noon to 3 p.m. in Bradley Maki Pavilion at the Iron Mountain City Park.

Those attending are asked to bring a dish to pass and their own plates and utensils. Coffee and lemonade will be provided. Paula D will provide music for listening and dancing.

This should be a festive day, as these Finns and friends have not been together since their St. Urho’s Day celebration in March of 2020.

Everyone is welcome to attend — it is not necessary to be a Finn to join in the fun.
