Luke Warm and the Not So Hots to perform at Out to Lunch

IRON MOUNTAIN — This week Luke Warm and the Not So Hots will bring their talent to Out to Lunch on Thursday for the final concert in July on the Systems Control Stage in downtown Iron Mountain. After their performance, OTL will only have two more concerts for the 2021 season.

OTL concerts run from 11:45 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each Thursday through the summer.

Luke Warm and the Not So Hots played last year for the Out to Lunch program, and their bluegrass/grassicana sound was popular with OTL crowds.

Onsite food vendors will include Crispigna’s with classic Italian fare and Dulce Nulla Gourmet Desserts, which will offer gluten-free and vegan options. Jean Kay’s Pasties and Hearty Dogs & Catering also will be available. Attendees are welcome as well to bring their own lunches to the program or order from other downtown restaurants.

Some seating will be provided through the musical benches set around the park, but concert-goers are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and an umbrella to provide some shade. Water also is encouraged to remain hydrated during the warm afternoon hours.

The Braumart Theatre will be used for concerts when inclement weather threatens. Changes to the concert’s location will be announced on the OTL Facebook page as well as on the radio.

OTL concerts are presented by Friends of the Downtown Development Authority and season sponsor First National Bank & Trust. This week’s concert is sponsored by the Tourism Association of the Dickinson County Area.

As the OTL program is run entirely on the generosity of sponsors and donations, donations are appreciated. Such donations help the OTL program to cover expenses and keep it free to the public. This week’s concert will once again feature a raffle and donations from participating local businesses. Last week’s raffle winner took home $110.

For more information on the Out to Lunch program or if interested in volunteering, call the DDA at 906-774-8534 or go to the Out to Lunch Facebook page or the website at www.DowntownIronMountain.com/Out-To-Lunch.

Though the skies threatened rain at last week’s OTL concert, a nice crowd came out to see Thomas Niebrzdowski play.
