Wender earns law degree

Evanston, Ill. –Chelsea L. Wender graduated from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, recently obtaining a juris doctor degree.

Wender resides in Chicago and has recently been hired by a large law firm downtown where she will practice.

She is the daughter of Dale and Louise Wender of Iron Mountain and a graduate of Iron Mountain High School.

Iron Mountain– Kane Driscoll of Iron Mountain has accepted an invitation of lifetime membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, a certified honor society for high-achieving first- and second-year college students with a minimum of a 3.0 grade-point average.

NSCS is an honor organization that invites less than 10% of all eligible students nationwide to join the ranks of its diverse membership each year. A leading interdisciplinary academic honor society, NSCS is made up of scholars from two-year, four-year and online institutions.

Plymouth, Wis –Angela Carollo, a junior from Iron Mountain, was among 338 students named to the Lakeland University Dean’s List for academic achievement for the 2021 spring semester.

To earn recognition on the dean’s list, undergraduate students must complete at least 12 credits and earn a 3.5 or higher grade-point average.

Carollo is the daughter of Jim and Lisa Carollo and is majoring in graphic design with a minor in business. She is currently employed at a Kohler Company property, Taverne on Wood Lake.

Founded in 1862, Lakeland is a private, liberal arts university that serves 2,700 students with an established cooperative education program.
