IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs will meet at noon Friday at the Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

The program will address “Where is the best place to put your money the coming year” by an official of the IncredibleBank. The group then will be entertained by Joan Pataconi, who will tell what our choice of purse says about our personality to the outside world.

Cost will be $17, all inclusive. The menu will be beef stroganoff and warm bread, and the alternate is a chef salad.

October is the membership meeting, so members are encouraged to bring a guest. All guests are welcome to attend one meeting, but after that will be expected to join if they want to continue to attend meetings.

Suellen Hosking and Kayanne Timbrook will be collecting hats and mittens to give to the schools for children in need when the snow flies.
