Lundin —70th

Oct. 6, 1951

QUINNESEC — Marvin and Barbara Lundin, lifelong married residents of Quinnesec, celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary in August at the home of their daughter, Roxann, in Norway.

The event was hosted by their children, Roxann Lundin, Cindy Bowers, and (Bill) Kim Lundin. Thirty-two family members gathered for a two-day celebration, ending in a sit-down dinner feast.

The Lundins were married Oct. 6, 1951, at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Goodman, Wis.

Marvin served in the Korean War just after their marriage and then returned to his employment with Kimberly-Clark Paper Mill in Niagara, Wis., until his retirement in 1993.

Barbara was employed with Khoury Brothers until her retirement, also in 1993.

MARVIN AND BARBARA LUNDIN

In their retirement, Marvin and Barbara enjoyed traveling, gardening, spending time with their family and caring for their pups.

Statistics show that less than .01% of married couples reach their 70th wedding anniversary. The Lundins’ commitment and love for each other is an inspiration to all.
