Don and Shirlee Johnson

NORWAY — On Nov. 30, 1946, at St Paul’s Methodist Church in Norway, Don Johnson and Shirlee Ross were married.

Attendants were Edith Hansen, friend of the bride, and Curtis Johnson, brother of the groom.

They settled in Norway and made a home for their three children, David, Candy and Wendy.

Life was not all roses but together they put to the test, “For better or worse.” They celebrated their 75 years together with a small group of family, including daughter Wendy and husband Doyle Yoder; son-in-law Dale (Candy, deceased) Thomas, grandson Jordon Thomas and wife Keeley; and great-grandson Greyson Thomas.

Friends sent flowers and many cards and well wishes that were read and truly appreciated.
