AURORA, Wis. — A benefit for Joseph Eaton is planned Saturday at the C & R Bar in Aurora, Wis., featuring local groups The Descendants and Norton, Chartier and Co.

The chicken and spaghetti dinner will be served from 1 to 5 p.m., with music to start at 6 p.m.

The 15-year-old son of Heather Crosslan and Chad Easton was injured Aug. 25 when a pickup truck struck the moped he was operating in East Kingsford.

He was severely injured and flown to Children’s Wisconsin-Milwaukee Hospital. He is home but still facing months of recovery from his injuries.

The event also will have 50-50 drawings, raffles and silent auctions.

Cost is $5 at the door.
