GFWC hosts annual Senior Girls Tea

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs will host its 88th annual Senior Girls Tea on Monday at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain.

The club invites area Iron Mountain-Kingsford senior girls for the traditional tea and punch, a time to enjoy fellowship with classmates. Approximately 108 graduating seniors, in addition to local school district administrators, are invited.

The guest speaker will be Kim Webb of Leeds Realty in Iron Mountain. Webb is a community-minded woman who is involved in many activities such as Great Start and the Imagination Factory Museum. She is a wife, mother and businesswoman.

Sandy Sullivan will provide the music for the afternoon.

“We are excited to be celebrating these senior girls and their accomplishments,” said Angie DuBose, event chair.
